Should the Dutch Do Something About the Fact That Immigrants Don't Tolerate Visiting Jews?

One of the greatest public secrets of our time is that not all people and cultures are the same. We received a tangible example of this yesterday, when groups carrying Palestinian flags attacked Jewish supporters of the visiting team after a football match in the Netherlands, causing significant harm. Even non-Jewish tourists found themselves in difficult situations.

Naturally, Dutch police intervened and detained at least 60 rioters, and ultimately the Israeli government planned to send planes to bring Israeli football fans home from the Netherlands. The question, of course, is how such incidents are possible in a country that, just a few decades ago, was known for its exceptional freedom and liberal values.

I’m confident that my esteemed readers understand the answer to this question even without my explanation. However, I’m less certain whether this understanding extends to the decision-makers in politics. And whether they’ll reach the consensus that similar incidents will recur if immigration policies in the EU are not significantly altered.

So, we’ll see whether, in this case as well, the event will be lamented for a while, the attackers of Jewish people will receive minor punishments, but the real issue will be left unaddressed. Or will the Dutch government show the resolve that voters expected from it in the 2023 elections? And take actions that would halt the growth of problematic immigrant groups in the Netherlands, in the EU, and thus also in Finland.

That is at least what Geert Wilders demands, as he wrote on social media, "A pogrom in the streets of #Amsterdam. We have become the Gaza of Europe. Muslims with Palestinian flags hunting down Jews. I will NOT accept that. NEVER. The authorities will be held accountable for their failure to protect the Israeli citizens."

Never again.

Swedish TV Did Not Learn Anything From the Riots in the UK

According to Swedish TV, crimes committed by young people are causing headaches for authorities in Sweden and Denmark. According to the Danish Minister of Justice, the most important thing is to "prevent the exploitation of Swedish child soldiers in crimes on the Danish side."

This is understandable, as Danish police have arrested several Swedes in recent days. Two Swedes in their twenties were arrested on the Swedish side of the Öresund Bridge because they were suspected of involvement in an explosion in Copenhagen.

A 17-year-old Swedish teenager was also imprisoned on suspicion of attempted murder in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. The victim of the gun crime was 18 years old. Additionally, 16- and 17-year-old Swedish youths have been imprisoned on suspicion of involvement in two recent shootings that occurred in Nørrebro, Copenhagen, and in Kolding.

As a result of all this, Swedish and Danish police have intensified their cooperation. It is not impossible that border controls between the two countries may be reintroduced, despite having been abolished on Nordic borders decades ago.

Based on all this, it seems that something has significantly changed in Sweden, in particular. However, large-scale immigration from developing countries was not mentioned in the Swedish TV news, so I won’t mention it either, even though, like everyone else in the Nordic countries, I know that it is almost certainly the underlying cause of the events we are now witnessing.

It seems that nothing has been learned in Sweden from the violence in Northern England, where - according to the media at least - disinformation related to the stabber's ethnic-religious identity played a significant role in triggering the events. This false information spread because the authorities failed to disclose immediately the truth about the actual background of the Rwandan-born murderer in the island nation.

Merry Christmas!

Today is Christmas Eve. That is the day, when most children in Western countries are waiting for Father Christmas or Santa Claus - and many of them even think of him as a Finn.

I am also waiting for Santa Claus, even though I am not a child anymore. Or well, it is sometimes said that a person turns into a child again when he has lived enough. So why not me?

This year, I am expecting Santa Claus with a very special reason, because I will be in a company including both younger and older children. And that is why it will be interesting to follow their reactions when Santa steps in. And to notice once again that the older ones do not reveal the harsh truth about the old man with a huge white beard and red clothing to their younger siblings.

I find it difficult to understand how older brothers or sisters are almost always ready to join the adults and keep the secret on Santa Claus from their younger ones, even though they must burn from willingness to shed light on the matter.

Obviously the explanation is that they are even more interested in joining the group fooling the smallest in the family in a nice way.

With these words, I wish you - my dear readers - a Merry and Clandestine Christmas season!
